30 Days of Insight Day 3

Day 03- The five songs you would have with you on a desert island and why.

Wow this is going to be hard because I always have music running in my head. So this post is heavy with Videos from Youtube.

1.

This song is important to me because its the song I walked on when I was getting married. Also when I was in the hosptial to give birth to my son this song was playing on the radio. So it defintly has a special meaning to me.

2.

When I was pregnant with my 12 year old I started calling her Sunlight. So this song reminds me of her and how much I love her.

3.

I was taught this song in Sunday School. Its a song I have sang to my kids and a reminder to me how much Jesus loves me no matter what I have done.

4.

Another reminder of how this world is not our home and we have something more glorious waiting for us.

5.

A vivid reminder of how quickly my kids are growing up. There's truth to be said in how time goes quickly.

*So I'm going to cheat and add two more songs cause I just couldn't. *

Bonus 1

This song speaks volumes of how I feel about my husband and the kind of relationship we have.

Bonus 2

When my grandmother died my older sister put a slide show together. This is one of the songs she had on there as our grandmother helped raise us. Because we are half korean (Mom's side, My grandmother) It seems apporiate to use this version instead of Josh Groban.

I had forgotten about "God bless the Broken Road." I love Rascal Flatts version, but have you heard the 4Troops version? They are awesome, and I even prefer their version of it!!
